Mas La Roca is surrounded by fields and woodland. A 15 minute walk takes
you to Castellcir, a village of 250 inhabitants. Until recently the property
was a working farmhouse and retains many of the traditional Catalan
architectural features although it has been painstakingly restored to make
it practical for rural tourism.
Mas La Roca is distributed over two floors with two double bedrooms and a
bathroom on each floor. The sitting room has a woodburning stove, the
kitchen has a wood oven and there is a bright spacious playroom/lounge
on the upper floor. There are plenty of woodland paths to explore in the
immediate surroundings
From Barcelona take the AP-7 and come off at the exit signposted Caldes
de Montbui. Follow the C-59 towards Moiá until you get to Castellterçol.
Just as you arrive in Castellterçol take a right turn signposted Castellcir. Do
not go into Castellcir but carry straight on until the road turns into a track.
Just at this point take a right down a track marked ROCA. Journey time
approx 45 mins from central Barcelona
