The summerhouse is on the island Bjurön in Stockholm's central archipelago.
The island is shaped like a horseshoe and our summerhouse is in the
horseshoe at the south bay. Between the summerhouse and the bay is a large
lawn where you can play beach tennis or similar sports.
The summerhouse was built in 2006. It has a large living room and kitchen
together with high ceiling and seaview. There are two bedrooms. One with a
double bed and one with a place built bunk beds with 120 beds. Above the
bedrooms is a loft with a sofa bed and a table.
The guest summerhouse has an entrance to a bedroom with a sofa bed and an
entrance to a toilet. Here are a toilettseparett, sink and a shower with hot
and cold water.
The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, stove with oven, microwave,
toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, etc. There are hot and cold water in the
kitchen tap.
There is a sauna with seaview. The sauna is 20 meters from the summerhouse.
The island lacks public service but it runs daily tours to Vaxholm
Waxholmsbolaget. It takes about 15 minutes. You can also go from Slussen,
which takes just over an hour.
A small swimming area is about 200 m from the summerhouse. There are cliffs
for the entire west side to sunbathe or swim from. The boatbridge has a
ladder to swim from.
