Description

Can Marce de la Penya is a large 17th century villa that once
produced 140,000 litres of wine a year. This spacious and special
place is perfect for large groups of friends or family, special
occasions like anniversaries or wedding groups or corporate
teams.

There is a large communal outdoor dining area, seating up to 22
people, where you can enjoy the surrounding views of the Garraf
and sea. On sunny days, use the large private BBQ, purposely built
for social gatherings. There are two car park areas (able to hold
up to 8 cars).

The private pool is heated when temperatures are above 12
degrees centigrade for an extended swimming season. It is set
away from the rest of the house, surrounded by a fence and wall.
The steps leading into the pool itself make it great for children.

The Montserrat Suite: king size double with ensuite bathroom

There are two sitting rooms, both of which are very large. The first
is an upstairs sitting area with 3 sofas, TV, DVD player, DVD's and
videos.

The other is a reading room with two sofas, a window bench
overlooking the front terrace and Garraf, TV, Video, desk, books,
hi-fi system with ipod link. WIFI is also available, and can be
accessed from here.

There are two indoor dining rooms, 2 kitchens - one of which is a
fully equipped open kitchen and breakfast room. The Masia
(Catalan word for "Large country House") also houses a games
room, consisting of a pool table and table-tennis table.

Road Description

The location is fantastic. Great for walks in the Garraf Natural Park
opposite. Only 40 minutes drive to the culture and shops of
Barcelona, 35 minutes to Barcelona airport, 10 minutes to Sitges
beaches, water sports, sailing, horse riding and golf courses, 5
minutes from tennis courts and 20 minutes to the famous
Penedes & Cava wine regions where you can go on wine tours to
famous Freixenet, Cordoniu and Torres vineyards.
