At the idyllically located lake Revsundssjön in the Jämtland
region
you will find this beautiful holiday home, just beside the
waterfront
of a lake. You have a big terass where you can direct climb
into the
boat to go fishing or just take a swim in the lake after the
breakfast
on the terass.
The wooden fired sauna has a beateful wiew of the lake and
you
step direct out from the sauna to have a dip inte the lake or at
wintertide roll yourself in the snow.
Downstairs you have kitchen, and bedsofa and TV. Big
bathroom
and the sauna. Upstairs there is 2 loft with 2 doublebeds.
WiFi is available.
The lake Revsundssjön is known for the good fishing and
nearby
you have the rinning water Gimån and Herrevadsströmmen
with
excellent fishing. Here you have to book the fishing licence in
good
time.
Together with three more holiday homes which also can be
rented.
The farmstead is somewhat secluded and surrounded by deep
forests and represents here so to speak a piece of juwellery.
Animal life up here is varied and according to the Swedish
fishing
guide the lake has the largest wealth of fish in the whole of
Sweden. To convince you that this is true, a rowing boat is
available
as an assistance for fishing. You can also hire an outdoor
woodheated bathtub just 2 meters from the seaside. You will
also
find two beautiful hiking trails, the Forsa and the
Pilgrimsleden, and
during your hiking tour you will disvcover really beautiful
places for
bathing.
The surrrounding also offers the opportunity for riding
horseback on
Icelandic ponies, to visit the museum of local history or to
discover
many interesting local food producers. Östersund is about 45
kilometers away from here and offers sights like the
Storsjöodjuret,
the Swedish variant of the Loch Ness Monster. However, it will
be
difficult to cause the animal to show itself to be present here,
but in
the Jamtli museum you can admire an embryo in the tube.
And if you return in the evening to your holiday home you can
excellently relax by means of the sauna or the hot tub for
bathing in
the open air which you can rent.
