Description

Child and animal-friendly house with large garden, 100 metres to sand beach,
150 metres to pier with a place for a boat alternatively hire of a smaller
boat. There is also separate pier suitable for swimming and fishing next to a
charming boat shed. The house is situated on the peninsula “Norrlandet” by the
bay “Gamlebyviken” with the Tjust archipelago on the other side of the
peninsula. The forest starts where the garden ends and is great for picking
both berries and mushrooms as well as enjoyable walks.

The house includes 3 bed rooms (room 1 with a king sized bed and a generous
single bed, room 2 with a double bunk bed sleeping three persons and 2 cots for
babies/small children and room 3 with a single bunk bed suitable for children).
There are also 2 bed sofas situated in the main living room. There are 2
bathrooms, both with loos and showers and the bigger bathroom (en suite to bed
room 1) also has a corner jaccuzi. There is a big kitchen with a kitchen table
seating 6+2 persons and an adjoining dining room with a table seating 12
persons. The kitchen also adjoins the utility room housing the washing machine,
utility sink, drying rack in the ceiling and a tumble dryer. There is under-
floor heating throughout the house. Morning sun and seating arrangement on the
decking outside the kitchen and afternoon sun and sea view from seating
arrangements on the decking outside the dining room. This area is surrounded by
a fence with two gates, ideal space for young children and/or dogs. Good lawns
for play and games. There is a flagpole outside the house, please feel free to
bring your own flag.

You can easily reach Västervik by car in ca 10 minutes and by boat in 20
minutes, from there you can visit the town or go further out into the
archipelago. There are regular boat trips in the summer months. It takes ca 15
minutes by car to either ”Lysingsbadet” where you can find activities for the
whole family or ”Gränsö slott” where you can enjoy a walk in the surrounding
nature reserve, a café, restaurant and a spa.

Daytrip suggestions: Going south; “Astrid Lingren’s World” in Vimmerby is an
hour away by car and it is ca 1 hour by car to the “Moose Park in Virum”
outside Hjorted. Going north; “Kolmården’s animal- and safari park” just north
of Norrköping is 1.5 hours by car. There is good shopping in Norrköping and in
Linköping (going west) both within 1.5 hours’ drive.

Med bil E22 norrut från Kalmar/Oskarshamn (ca 25 min) : Sat nav mot
Helgsjösand, Tallgården. Ta av mot Västervik, följ brun skylt mot
Båtmansstugorna, passera tågstationen, hamnen, kör över bron vid
Turistbyrån, passera slottsruinen, passera Piperskärr, Stuverum samt
Äppelviken. Sakta ned när det är vatten på vänster sida samt 6 nybyggda
hus på höger sida. Sväng nästa vänster. Välkommen till Helgsjösand,
passera två hus. Välkommen till Tallgården, det tredje huset vid
vändplanen.
Med bil E22 söderut från Norrköping/Söderköping (ca 25 min): Sat Nav mot
Helgsjösand, Tallgården. Ta av mot Loftahammar vid Björnsholm på E22.
Sväng höger vid Lofta kyrka, vänstersväng vid blå skylt mot Västervik.
Passera Segersgärde samt Rätö brygga, sakta ned vid gul skylt Helgsjö 1,
sväng nästa höger. Välkommen till Helgsjösand, passera två hus.
Välkommen till Tallgården, det tredje huset vid vändplanen.
Med SJ tåg samt Swebus till Västerviks resecentrum (10 minuter).
Med flyg till Oskarshamn (1 timme), Norrköping & Linköping (1.5 timme)
samt Skavsta utanför Nyköping (2 timmar).
