The apartment consists of entrance hallway, AIR-C, fully equipped modern kitchen
with dining space and a little balcony overlooking the street, bedrooms with a
comfortable queen-size bed and large bathroom with sink, bidet, bathtub/shower.
The apartment is located in the central area of the city " Crocetta", on the
second floor of a nice 19th century building, 10 minutes walking from the main
railway station Porta Nuova, 15 minutes from Piazza Castello and via Roma
(downtown), and 5 minutes by tram or bus (the stop is in front the building).
Very close at the University of Economics and Politecnico Technical University.
Easy to reach also the Lingotto exhibition hall and the city center.

Our prices include the services of bed linen and towels, a fully equipped
kitchen and all expenses (electricity, water, gas, taxes, etc..)

We can also offer this SPECIAL SERVICES:

- AIRPORT PICK UP for the fee of 25EUR daytime rate (from 8,00AM to 8,00PM and
nightly rate5is 30EUR) which is 25 minutes car ride from the centre of the
city/apartment.
- PRIVATE PARKING GARAGE is located across the street from the apartment and is
fully locked. The garage charge is 5EUR per day or upon agreement.
- BICYCLE is provided for FREE, should you wish to use one during your stay, ask
before your arrival.
- PERSONAL GUIDE TO THE CITY - A graduate in Political Science (Historical
Studies) french and english speaking, is available to organize the historical
city tour and visit the main attractions. (Price to be negotiated based on the
hours and days required).
- OPTION OF INTERNET CONNECTION for 2EUR/day throughout the period of stay.
- DRIVER for day trips, the price to be agreed.

Wegbeschreibung

HOW TO REACH US:

BY CAR: if you come from the south, motorway A6 Torino-Savona or the motorway
A21 Piacenza-Torino, you take the ring road south of Turin and head towards the
north ring road (Milan-Aosta) to Exit “Stupinigi-SS23”. Exit and keep right up
to take over the Corso Unione Sovietica. Never turn right to continue throughout
the course towards the city center. Go straight on along Corso Turati and soon
after, at the first intersection with corso Magellano, after Mauriziano’s
Hospital, at the left, you are. The building, with the bar Modigliani, is to the
upper-left corner of the intersection.
We recall that, upon request, there is available a locked garage in front of the
building.

BY TRAIN: the nearest railway station from the apartment is Porta Nuova. Exit
the station you are in Via Sacchi, go left, to the south to less than 2 km. and
straight on along Corso Turati, at number 40,you are. Tram # 4 and Buses # 36
and 36/, stop Vespucci.
Normally we provide free taxi service from the stations of Turin.

BY PLANE: normally used airports are Turin Caselle and Milano Malpensa.
From Turin Caselle airport, about 18km away (about 30 minutes from the
apartment), there are taxi (daytime rate 30euro and night rate 40euro) and bus
to downtown (6Euro, every hour, hour and a half). From Caselle airport we offer
a taxi service for 24Euro daytime and 30euro at night rate).
From Milan Malpensa airport there is a bus of SADEM every two hours to reach the
terminal in Turin after 2 hours of travel, cost 16-18Euro.
We offer the free service from the Terminal to the apartment.

TURIN FILM FESTIVAL
From November 26th to December 4th
the 28th Torino Film Festival will be held in Turin. There will be a great
opening night at the Regio Theatre. This is the second edition directed by
Gianni Amelio and among the most important guests will be the director Marco
Bellocchio and the American author Joe R. Lansdale. Bellocchio, one of the most
important writer and directors of Italian and international cinema, will be the
President of the International Feature Competition Jury. This edition will be
dedicated to one of the most prolific American directors of the second half of
the 20th Century: John Huston. The retrospective will include more than
forty-five titles, including, in addition to all the war movies and
documentaries directed by the author, a selection of his screenplays and
interpretations.

Turin is located in northwest Italy. It is surrounded on the western and
northern front by the Alps and on the southern front by the hills of Monferrato.
Turin has a truly continental climate, with nothing to share with the rest of
Italy which is famous for its comfortable Mediterranean climate. Winters are
cold and dry, summers are cool in the hills and quite hot in the plains.
