Description

At Gällnö life can be described as one of peace and tranquility. Gällnö is a genuine island with large, open
pastures and grazing animals. lush meadows and pastures mixed with forest and dotted with rocks and
beaches. Gällnö is for those who want to experience how the archipelago was once, with well-preserved
buildings and open spaces.There is one functioning farm who’s cows graze around nearly the entirity of
the island. Only About 30 people live year-round on Gällnö. We hope that you will enjoy your stay with us!

We have five 2-bed cottages and five 4-bed cabins. The main house has a living room, kitchen, reception
and a 2-bed rooms and one four-bed room.

All our four-bed cabins are equipped with a cool box and a small kitchenette with cooking facilities. In
our two two-bed cottages we provide a cooler and kitchen facilities, but if you live in any of the
remaining three cabins you have free use of the large kitchen in the main house

Road Description

Gällnö hostel is located in the outskirts of Gällnö hamlet. It will take you about 15 minutes to walk from
the steamboat pier where Waxholms and Cinderellabåtarna arrive.
