This lovely restored farmhouse on a 7 acre (3 hectare) plot ,set in
the Andalusian countryside along the banks of the beautiful Rio
Genal, overlooked by the majestic Mt Crestellina.
Orange groves, olives, and pomegranates flourish on the organic
finca. Birdlife is abundant - nightingales and golden orioles!
Herons and kingfishers abound in the river.
The property is located along a country track 5 minutes
from the tarmaced road from the coast to Gaucin. Gaucin town is 10
minutes away from the end of the country track and the coast at
Sabanillas/ Puerto Duquesa with its golf course is 20 minutes away.
The Malaga airport is just over 1 hour on the new motorway Large
open-plan living space with big open fire. 3 bedrooms, of which 2 en
suite, a third bedroom with 2 single beds and an adjoining
shower/toilet. The patio is generous with a large shaded dining table
(seats 10) with great views of Mt. Crestellina - a fine spot to enjoy a
sundowner! Guests will have access to the entire finca (3 ha.) with
its wide expanse of fruit trees. The property fronts the clean-flowing
Rio Genal which is great for exploring, splashing or safe swimming.
The horizon pool (10x5x1.5m) has a lovely view over the valley.
Water is supplied from a limestone-sourced well in the finca: safe
and delicious! We have thousands of oranges and tangerines in
season (Dec - April) so no need to buy any!
