Welcome in Finca Maita, a unique place where you can relax, and the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
In the picturesque village Biniaraix, near Soller, is situated this beautiful country stone house in typical majorcan style with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains of the world cultural heritage 'Tramuntana'. The house has been lovingly and tastefully decorated. It offers approx. 180 m² of living area distributed over 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a beautiful and bright entrance area and a large open and fully equipped kitchen with dining area. From the kitchen there is access to the terrace and the garden. On the mezzanine floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with tub. On the 1st floor there's a master bedroom with en suite bathroom and a lovely living room with fireplace.
The Mediterranean garden is beautifully landscaped, and offers you both, sunny and shady places to relax. After sunbathing on cozy sun loungers you can refresh yourself in the pool. Next to the pool and a sun terrace is situated very well equipped summer kitchen with chill out area for barbecue. It is a perfect place to spend the evenings with the friends or family. The laundry room and a third bathroom have an access from the garden.
Finca Maita is an ideal place for summer holidaymakers as well as for hikers who want to spend a quiet holiday in the midst of splendid mountain scenery of the “Serra de Tramuntana”. The surroundings of the finca, from where start many beautiful hiking routes, and the whole valley of Sóller, invite hikers to enjoy their holiday. And the house is also cozy in the cooler months, because it has heating, fireplace and a wood stove in the kitchen.
The centre of Sóller is in about 15 minutes walking distance.
The access to the finca is narrow; we recommend rent a small car!!!

One of the most picturesque corners of Mallorca. Sóller is set in a valley full of orange and olive trees, between the highest peaks of the Tramuntana Mountains, and the sea. The valley and its surrounding mountain range, the 'Serra de Tramuntana', acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, is a best destination, especially for those who enjoy walking, nature, ecotourism, swimming or simply a peaceful rest away from the hustle of the better-known tourist traps. The town of Sóller has a charming town center. Many buildings in the Art Nouveau style dominate the narrow streets and squares, which has developed a lively scene with bars and pubs. A charming tram runs regularly between Sóller´s town center and the Port of Sóller, meandering trough the the gardens and lemon groves of this picturesque valley. Very attractive is also a journey from Sóller to Palma with a historic train. Sóller is a city with a long history, and has many places which can be discovered by the visitor as well as exquisite restaurants that invite you to taste local food.
Due to its location it is less frequented by tourists, and retains its original character. The surrounding area offers numerous recreational opportunities, where you can enjoy nature and the sea.
Port of Sóller is a charming old coastal town, where ancient customs and traditions blend easily with contemporary attitudes, and an atmosphere of rural peace make this picturesque location perfect for a holiday near the sea.
Biniaraix, situated in 2 kilometres from Sóller is a small village which preserves its ancient charm, famous for its ravine, where one of the most emblematic excursions on the island can be carried out. Worth mentioning also is the excursion to the architectural group of the property Binibassí, the s'Alzina Fumadora path to the Comuna and many other routes that can be covered on foot or by bicycle. The ascent up the Barranc de Biniaraix is one of the most spectacular excursions on foot that can be carried out along the old stone paths of the Serra de Tramuntana. Hiking in the fertile valley or in the Tramuntana Mountains is an unforgettable experience. Not far away from Biniaraix is situated the picturesque village Fornalutx a delightful excursion option.
